Corrective maintenance
Corrective Maintenance consists of performing the procedure of exchanging parts or equipment installations when a fault signal is identified in the operation.
In a hospital environment, when a medical device stops, it can bring irreversible damage and consequences to patients. As we already know, Corrective Maintenance is performed after the occurrence of a failure and aims to restore the capacity of the equipment and return its original characteristics. All these steps are linked to a productive process that can not stop.
In addition to bringing the functionality of the devices with Corrective Maintenance, Clinical Engineers conduct an in-depth investigation, such as: Diagnostics, action plan and fault monitoring, aiming at a direct reduction in the cost of maintenance and, mainly, the speed and agility for the return of the equipment to the sector of origin in its perfect operating conditions.
